Ive been to Mile One about 3 times now. Every time I go I want to give it another chance! I find that the food is just not very flavorful. Ive had the blue cheese burger, the garbanzo wrap, the salad, the wedges, and one of the other burgers. The wrap and salad I found pretty bland. Theyre both missing a GOOD sauce and some more flavor. The burgers are okay, but considering Mile One is known for their burgers, I dont think theyre anything to rave about. The friends Ive gone with also agree that theres just something missing. But the vibe is amazing, the staff is super nice and friendly, and it smells so so good in there! I just wish the food was as good as it smells. Prices are fair and the patio has a beautiful view of the mountains as well. I think Ill definitely give Mile One a couple more chances because it has such great potential.
Definitely some of the best burgers that I have ever had. The patties are great, the Pemberton potato wedges are amazing and the different choice of burgers will definitely please every one. My favorite is the rusty tractor (w/ Goat Cheese and Peppers), add a fried egg to it and you'll be on top of things. They do a Burger and Beer for $15 on Wednesday and, wow, you should see the line up !The only thing you need to consider is that, as orders are cooked on demand, you generally have to wait a little before being served but really, when the food is that great, I don't mind !Awesome place for comfort food. You really see they are taking pride in what they do !Closed on Monday-Tuesday !
Great restaurant with excellent burgers and large portions. The beer selection is exclusively BC brews and has something for everyone. The burger I had was fantastic and flavourful with excellent toppings. My wife had a Mac & Cheese that was enormous and very tasty. Location is right off hwy 99 and has lots of parking in the gravel lot.Try out this restaurant it is very good.
To start, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal I had there. I had the Mile One Burger and a half Mac and cheese, both of which were delicious and full of flavour. Please keep it as is, because I found it delicious and will definitely have it again should we travel this way again. My wife had a veggie wrap and she did not enjoy it very much. As full as it was with healthy ingredients, it lacked in tastiness. Some sort of sauce and or additional seasonings would have added much. The waitress was kind enough to ask what could be done to improve on the taste, and we mentioned this to her. Apparently, they had a version of that wrap in the past that was more tasty, but with some change in the kitchen it isn't the same. Please take it from us (and the other review I just read) and look into enhancing your veggie wraps.
Really popular for a reason. The food is good, but its not amazing... local products, local beers, awesome location, great service all the ingredients are there. But it seems like the quality keeps decreasing. Really disappointed in the burger with the bread uncooked? Big mistake right there! Ill for sure give it another try but I would expect better of a 15$ burger.
