Lively place, great atmosphere. The bison carpaccio, although slice thicker than I am used to, was delicious with the mustard sauce and garden fresh arugula. I almost ordered a second plate. It went beautifully with a local craft brewery's IPA. The pasta special was to die for. Local morel mushrooms were whole and nutty and chewy. I was in town for a long table dinner the next day at North Arm Farm that I paid over $300 (the cost of the dinner only). That meal I cannot remember but the one at The Pony I can recall every detail of. I wish this place was closer to home!
A great outdoor mountain restaurant. Daily specials are fantastic. I ordered the eggplant sandwich, had one bite, it was so good that my wife look it from me and ate it. Great local beer selections. And an awesome view of the mountains from the outdoor seating area.
Went after hiking Joffre Lake. We got sat down outside on the patio very quickly and served with waters immediately. Their drinks selection was huge and the service was spectacular. The burgers were absolutely amazing but the chicken wings were weird and not what we expected (avoid those). There were flies everywhere but that was okay as the server explained that they are high in numbers around this time and they cant do anything about it (we stopped to notice this after a while). Even though it was sunny and hot, we felt totally comfortable under the patio. I would definitely go back.
Five Star Prices, Three Star Food, One Star Service. Was very disappointed , completely ignored by the host, completely ignored by our server, food was tasty but small portions for the price. Server never came to ask how we liked our meal. Staff was totally disorganized on a busy afternoon - everyone running around with no focus - a complete multi-tasking fail. Overall, very poorly managed. Limited washroom facilities, single bathroom for each sex. Took over an hour to get in and out which was way too long, it was even difficult to pay the bill. Three of us left and the fourth still had to sit there waving a credit card for 15 minutes.NEW MANAGEMENT AND TRAINING IS DEFINITELY REQUIRED!!!
Great food, great service and nice location... This place has a lot for itself : not only is the food option varied but it is also very tasty. The pizzas are great and baked to a perfect mix of crusty and soft dough. The drink menu is quite extensive too ! Our waitress was attentive to our needs without working us to the bone. She was friendly and knew when to give us time to enjoy our dinner while doing the right amount of checking on our needs ! The location is great and easily accessible by foot from anywhere in Pemberton but there is also a nice parking available on the side !I will definitely be back !
