We have been horseback riding in a number of different places and this was by far the best experience! Bob was great in booking, our leader was amazing, and our two girls (7 & 10) got to gallop, ride across a river, and have the most amazing views. We are already planning another ride when we are back up in Whistler!
A Great Ride. We took an afternoon ride that had a little of everything. We rode through town, popped onto a dusty horse trail, crossed the creek and went through a scenic forested area where we did "Bob's Loop". In the middle was the customary photo spot with mountains framing the background followed by a return trip.The horses were well trained and of good temperament. Our guide was delightful and we were pleased to swap stories of barrel racing, bull riding and a fishing story that, despite the photos, sounded a little too good to be true! ; )
2-hours of dusty ride with 1/3th of the ride on road and asphalts. Friendly and safety conscience staffs, but the staff need more customer oriented experience. Need a couple stops to take pictures or videos (this is the whole point of going on an expensive excursion) especially at river crossings. The guides should know locations, setup, and sun angles to take better pictures. All of the pictures came out dark faces and blurry.Some water wadings would add a long way to the experience.
We came back for a second great ride! Lovely horses, stunning scenery, friendly guides and adventure for all levels!
The two hour ride is a great loop that takes you through the forest and two river crossings. We walked, trotted and cantered based on riders abilities. Guide is very experienced and it was a great time!
