We had an amazing day fishing Anderson lake with Scott! The boat we went on was perfect for trolling and the scenery was unbelievable. Scott was an excellent guide and knows the area very well. We were reeling in big bull trouts and also had a nice rainbow. There was definitely no shortage of high fives and laughs during our epic day! Great fishing experience. The guides were great with my grandchildren ages 11, 9, and 7. They were patient and worked with the kids for a couple of hours. The kids had never cast a line before.The kids were thrilled and said the highlight of their trip was their fishing experience.Thanks
Caught no fish on a half day trip. Expensive, $300, but inline with other guide services. Very scenic river (Birkenhead River). We did some hiking to get to a couple more remote spots. Other spots were close to the main road and likely heavily fished. Many open areas for full casting, though most holes were accessible by high sticking or short casts. Guide was a well experienced fisherman and friendly though this was his first session in this area. Gear (waders rod) was good quality and in good condition.
Great experience! Scott knew his water and did very well matching the hatch. Professional and despite bad weather conditions, we kept on fishing! A great experience and beautiful place to fish! Brad has a great set up! Also, killer fly patterns in shop! Been fly fishing 44 years, been all over the world, these guys are the real deal! Caught a potential world record bulltrout! What an experience!!!!!!
